Our sea salt is harvested from the salt flats near Oualidia, between Essaouira and Casablanca on the western coast of Morocco. It is an all-natural sea salt created by pumping water from the Atlantic Ocean onto the salt flats and holding it there until it has evaporated over a period of months, leaving the natural sea salt behind. The result is a salt rich in minerals, with a pleasant texture and mouth feel.
Culinary Uses Our sea salt dissolves easily and is a great seasoning for grilled meats, fish, and simple vegetable dishes. It is also excellent for baking, curing, and general use as a table salt.
